Primary Care Tobacco Treatment Training Network in Greece and Cyprus

Greece and Cyprus have one of the highest rates of tobacco use in the EU. 30-40% of patients who visit a primary care provider in Greece smoke. Help with quitting smoking is one of the most important interventions a primary care provider can offer patients. The goal of the TiTAN Primary Care Tobacco Treatment Network is to support primary care providers with addressing tobacco use with their patients using the latest evidence-based tobacco treatments. The TiTAN Network has developed a training program and a tool kit of resources specifically for health care professionals working in primary care.
